The course consists of viewing the feature-length version of the documentary followed by a discussion about the importance of understanding the emotional impact of stuttering with Speech-Language Pathologist John Gomez. John is also the director of the film and a professor at Cal State LA where he teaches Psychosocial Considerations and the grad level Stuttering Course.

      3. the student will be able to consider the essential role of active listening in therapy.
